>I just tried creating a DSN to one of my DBCs and got an "invalid database specification" message from the ODBC driver. I used the 6.0 driver, and tried both System DSN and User DSN. I can explisitly open the same DBC from the VFP command window with no problem. And Validate Database returns no errors.

Does it do this with any other DBC's in the DSN? Which driver did you use when you created the DSN? I seem to remember getting weird messages with any of the other drivers besides "Microsoft Visual FoxPro Driver v6.00"
