Barbara,
I have just made the decision to utilize MaxTech's framework for my projects. Up 'till now
I've been attempting to create my own application framework on the fly. I've been
somewhat successfull, but decided to take the plunge and actually try a third-party product.
The biggest addition will be error handling. My framework contained none. Additionally,
figuring out how to use VMF will stretch my VFP knowledge, as VMF represents far more
complex coding then mine.
So far, all I've done is to make the application database container for two of my projects
VMF compatible, and subclass the main X3FW class library. I plan on subclassing one more
time. The first subclass I'll use for all my projects, and the second subclass will be
project specific. Not sure, but I think this should be a good plan.
If I'm successfull, I'll think about diving into the professional version. For now, I'll
have enough of a challenge figuring out how to get the most out of the public domain version.
My biggest challenge is the terse documentation. I'll have to do alot of guessing and
expirementing for now. I imagine I'll learn alot this Sunday, when I plan on retrofitting
one of my forms into a VMF form class.
I really wish the documentation included better examples on using the VMF classes.

>Jarod, just replace 'extant' with 'existing' Fancy word, same meaning.
