I use the recommendations from when I was using an earlier set of
Foundation Classes, in that I have subclassed everything once for all
projects as you suggest, but will then only further subclass individual
classes if appropriate to a specific project.

There is a sample application in the pro version, which is far more
useful in giving guides as to how to use the features in practice.
