Sorry, I was a bit vague. I meant the Scripting stuff as in these objects (the WSH objects).

I agree with you totally here Ed. This is good stuff. I was telling someone yesterday to drop the legacy file copy stuff they were sweating through (using shell commands and VFP file functions, and take a minute to look at the WSH file manipulation (I was thinking of your evangalism on the topic recently), they didn't though :( .

With these objects, I almost feel like we are getting the kind of tight programmatic integration that is second nature in Unix--the stuff that you miss in Windows, but those who have never used Unix give you blank stares about, or say, "who cares."

I was considering how I could work the RegExp object into a COM server I was working on too... :)

BTW what is WMI?
