Which site did you look at? My site, or the Surplus site? If you haven't looked at
www.surplusdirect.com that's a good example of a fast response site running VFP getting
around 150,000 daily hits.

I don't think that's MS implying - that's me or those who've played with most of the technology
coming out of MS today. MS is good at putting stuff out for mindshare, not so good at getting it
right once it first goes out. It'll get there, but it'll take time and people pushing.
The overall moral should be though: You can build very high volume Web apps with Visual FoxPro.
The tools are available and if you design your application smartly it will be able to handle
all but the heaviest volume - The Surplus site is rated as one of the top 10 commercial sites
on the Internet with according traffic with close to 2 million total page hits on peak days...
