A friend of mine had to reinstall Windows 95. When finished, he brought up his modem and was told that some other application was using it. He has reinstalled the modem and his service, but gets the same message. He tried changing CMOS settings on COM 2. When he did that he was told he had no modem. Any suggestions. He is almost ready to shoot his computer.
