But when I have a read-only grid, which most of mine are, I want the mousepointer to be an arrow over all the grid's controls so the user isn't confused about whether they can edit, etc. I just wish they were a little more intuitive. :-)

< smirk > Don't let users edit in grids period. Eliminates any chance of confusion, and doesn't matter what my mouse pointer does over a grid =D)
