The app I was referring to was oringinaly writen in VFP, when the boss told us to do it in Oracle. Tools, wizards, upsizing, oracle, do a bit of field defs (char to varchar2), OK, rewrite stroed procs, create remote views, change VFP forms dataenvironments to the new remotes, up and running, two days:-). Performance, however sucked. Recreate forms in Oracle developer, five months :-(. Project still ongoing, in fact I may have a carrer just on this project.
