Everyone,

So you see I am teaching this class in Ft. Lauderdale FL and after a busy day some of the students and I decide to have a beer. I clip my cell phone ot my side pocket and head to the bar.

We are all sitting there and drinking beer and telling jokes. We are having a great time. Suddenly, I hear mky cell phone ring, so as a dutiful person I answer it.

"Hello?"

"Hello, you guys have been calling us about 10 times in the last 20 minutes!"

"I can barley hear you, could you speak more loudly?" while the bar's background noise is goning on.

"IN THE LAST FEW MINUTES YOU HAVE CALLED US AT LEAST 10 TIMES AND SAID NOTHING. JUST NOISE. THAT's ALL."

The voice sounds familiar though, "Whil, is that you?"

"Yeah, this is Whil." he says sort of unsure.

"This is Jim."

Loud laughter from the other end of the phone.

The truth, Whil's number is set for speed dial in my phone but is the sixth one down. It takes one button to bring up the speed dial, then six presses on another to get to Whil and finally one press on a third button to dial. The phone rubbing on the chair was pressing these buttons. How it pressed this specific sequence of buttons 10 times in a row I'll never know.

End of story, I shut off the cell phone.
