I understand the idea. It is sometimes needed to go back to a previous question to many different reasons. Doing it this was with the controlling object doing all of the question navigation work got great results. When a user moves back and then advances forward it will then follow all of the skips with the new answers, clearing out any skipped question and displaying any answer already on file for a given question.
