It immensely breaks Rick Strahl's wwXML classlib. The 5.01 XMLDOM object throws errors that it shouldn't when trying to access some of it's properties and methods. I don't know if it affects other automation clients but VFP doesn't like it. There's a thread over on Rick's site from the end of January or the beginning of Feb that give more detail.
