>Also, does anyone know if it makes a difference to the client if the host is NT or UNIX? If I want to do something with vfp for example, should I choose an NT site?
If you want to "do something with VFP", you'll need it to exist on an OS that can support VFP. That kinda says NT. What kind of application are you running? Is it just static pages, or asp talking to a COM object, or Web Connection or something similar? If you want to do a Web Connection type system, you're going to want your application isolated on your own box. That means co-locating it or leasing a server. It costs a lot more, but if you are doing anything significant with it, you need the security/stability/peace of mind it offers.
