Thanks Guys, Potter's way worked okay. I actually tried your way before and it was displaying a blank record infront of each child group.


It gets complex as the grouping gets more nested. I find it stange however that I have to order the cursor to suite the grouping I have in the report designer. I also code in VB and I do not have to order my recordset(cursor). Once I specify my grouping and nest it the way I want everything runs perfect but in Fox you have to rig the report designer and the cursor to match each other. Does it really have to be this way. :(
