>Here (Vancouver Island) we find the worst drivers are those with prarie plates on the car. It seems they just do not know how to handle roads that are as winding as ours. During winter, however, the worst drives seem to be the ones from the 'Snow belt' (anywhere east of the Rockies), as they are not used to wet snow, and try to drive as though they were still in Ontario (or Winterpeg, etc.)and then seem amazed that they got stuck or slid out of control.
Well here in Memphis TN we have pretty good drivers. They are in general all of the same breed. < now open for Red Neck Jokes!!! > Fast, no directionals, no fear. I feel at home when I travel to LA or Atlanta.
I left Phoenix and that was scarry. You had people who could drive and then you had people who could SEE! The Blue Hairs scared the crap out of me when driving there. You are bounding along and they would pull in front of you because they didn't see you. Then they say that your driving reckless and came out of nowhere.
