thats the one I tried. Took it all out to a prg. Now get this!

The resulting prg is just a dozen lines of index commands.

Any one of them caused the problem. So I just commented them all out and put a 'SUSPEND' instead.

Then, when it suspended, I ran an index command from the command window and I STILL got the damn error.
