Is net solutions a laboratory example of bureaucracy run-amuck?
Take a straight forward, well-defined set of responsibilities, schedule three meetings a week for six months, hire 2 contractors for an additional 12 months evaluation (corporate CYA) and create a non-functional, well-documented, unresponsive monolith of inefficiency (kind of sounds like my first marriage).
ALTHOUGH...the up side is that an organization that runs this badly provides ample career opportunities for those who WE would be paying for otherwise.
WAIT A MINUTE...you also have to draft job descriptions so everyone knows what is NOT their job.
Sorry...I'm not much of a fan of corporate nonsense.
