I think I need to jump in here too to clarify one point. Barry's message implied that DevCon attendance has been declining in a straight line. That's just not so. It's been higher in years when there's a new version of VFP and lower in years in between new versions, as we'd all expect. Last year's attendance was quite good, considering how long VFP 6 had been available.

Switching to opinion, I think more conference options can only be a good thing for the VFP community. I encourage everyone to attend some conference in 2000. The opportunity to meet with your peers and learn from them, as well as from the expert speakers is invaluable.
