He is doing some MS web site research on the topic.... I am afraid that using a generic driver (or an older, "proven"
driver such as that for the 5Si) would not allow taking advantage of the 2,000 sheet bottom tray on the 8100N... it
may only be able to "see" the two 500 sheet trays that come as standard equipment.. the 2,000 sheet tray is an
OPTION on the 8100N that, as far as I can tell, REQUIRES the 8100N-specific HP driver... RL
