Hi Charlie.
Actually, the main part of the data processing occurs after the app retrieves the data from the [client] server, and in this demo C builder was much faster at processing what it downloaded.
The reason I brought this up was not to "rag" on VFP. I brought this up to show that even though VFP is probably the best of its class, it is not a speed demon like alot of people in here says.
Most developers probably wouldn't use C builder to develop a database app. They'll probably use VFP, VB, Delphi, powerbuilder etc.... But I just thought the speed was amazing, especially when it was running off of a netword server.
Just a thought worth about $0.02
