It can be anywhere on the desktop when minimized. A top-level (ShowWindow = 2) will. It's caption seems normal, as does the other (desktop) form. Of course, this was done in design mode. What am I missing here?

Sorry, Erik, I can't replicate this. I have an application (top-level) that calls a modal dialog, who's ShowWindow is 1 (In-top-level form). I changed the dialog's Desktop property to .T., created a CONFIG.FPW with SCREEN = OFF, and ran it from the Explorer. When I call the dialog, it does indeed respect the desktop setting, but doesn't appear as a separate item on the task bar and there's no additional items displayed (IOW, no Microsoft Visual FoxPro item).
Is the form modal or modeless?
>Important: from the command window (in VFP design mode) only one item shows in the taskbar. This behavior only occurs in the exe.
