Okay, I have tried all this stuff, and still the problem. I know for absolute sure the OCX is registered properly, and the same code runs perfectly in vfp5, and all other machines with the vfp6 version. I gave the user an old vfp5 version of the app to use while I try to resolve this.
Now I had a similar problem going from 5 to 6 with GETOBJECT() and OLEs. It always worked fine in 5, but sometimes (but not always) did not work in 6. Had to adjust the code - may have to do the same here.
