You are not prohibited from using formsets, it is just a common sense here. :) Formsets are in VFP as it seems mostly to provide compatibility when you convert FoxPro 2.X screens to VFP. Formset's ability to share the datasession between forms may be useful, but you can use modal forms with datasession set to Default which will also share the calling form's datasession, or even switch datasessions. The default behavior in a form belonging to formset when you TAB between fields is to go to the next form when you reach the last control in the Tab order. So you need some code to prevent this.
