I understand all of this but the problem I have is after the record source property is changed or even if the record source alias is changed for a grid, properties of that grid are suddenly changed. For example, column widths and font properties are altred leaving you with the task of re-defining them each time the record source is modified. It seems silly to have to re-define grid properties each and everytime the record source is modified. VFP 5.0 did not work this way, and I am not sure why they changed the way the grid operates in 6.0.
Is there some way to requery a 6.0 grid without having to re-define grid properies?
