Don't know if this helps, but I used to get an identical problem in Access when I'd developed on (say) a D: drive but my distributed program ran on another system without a D: drive - even though (as far as I was concerned) there were no references in the code to the old location, it seemed that an attempt was being made to access the old location.

Just a guess.
