Thanks, I'll check if they are running on a Novell 4.0 network and perhaps suggest running an MS client.

I believe that an abnormal shutdown like a power failure could also cause garbage data to appear. However 2 different user are experiencing the problem.

Is there a way to not close a table correctly that could cause this to happen?
