Oh man, this reminds me so much of the messages I get here at work. I will literally get messages that say: "The computer here doesn't work." Here's how these e-mail exchanges usually go:

Me: "Which computer? What is it doing/not doing?"
Them: "It doesn't come on."
Me: "Who's computer doesn't come on?"
Them: "Mikes."
Me: "What kind of system is Mike's computer? Take a look on the front panel. Are you even getting a power light on it?"
Them: "Mikes."
Me: "Yes, but what kind of computer, and are you getting any power on it?"

...and so on...Arg...
