It doesn't appear to work (at least on my machine) with in-process servers (DLLs). Further, I can right click on the file in the getfile() dialog, and the property sheet for it does not display a version tab. I'm using VFP 6.0 SP3.

However, to answer you're question in 6.0, AGETFILEVERSION() does this. In 5.0, you'd have to use the foxtools function GetFileVersion().
