I am about to start conversion odf a single user app to network-multi user application. Being a self taught programmer, I learn new concepts as they are needed. To date, multi-user has not been an issue. BTW: I still use a quill to write with ;-).

In my limited testing of Foxpro's native record locking fuctions, I have observed the following problem. If User A locks record 4 of a table that resides on Server 1 and then crashes (or other improper termination of program), record four can only be unlocked by reseting the server.

My question is: How does one unlock records that remain locked after a user crashes?

Thanks in advance.
