John,

>snip<

>So, while you see it as an attack, I see it as a spirted technical discussion.

Nothing wrong with discussions, tirades are another matter altogether.

>snip<

>Again, if it is fair to ask, why are my questions being regarded as an attack..

My guess John is that you tend to come across a little to bluntly. Sure, that's your right and priviledge but at some point the old saying goes, "You catch more bees with honey than vinegar."

>She is not on trial, rather, she is being held accountable. As for not being a court, I disagree. This is the court of public opinion. A place where I have been found guilty of some offense more than once..< bg >..

Sure, we're all accountable to each other but it strikes me that the way for someone else to have the credibility to judge others they must have that credibility so recognized. Are you trying to be another Roy Bean, the Hanging Judge? *g* I don't know if you read the Bible or not but if you do then I'd like to recommend you read Romans 2:17-23 where Paul talks about the setting of standards, keeping them and how we expcet others to keep them. When you set these impossibly high standards you've got to expect at some point that people will expect you to first set the example.

You (and I) need to demonstrate by the way you behave yourself publicly that you have earned the respect of others. I'll say this again; Tamar and I have some serious differences (mostly faith based and therefore of a personal nature) and while she certainly has no need whatsoever of me standing up for her, I do think you've come across with this latest outburst as having unnecessarily and gratuitously attempting to substitute your personal animosity as professional thought. At least that's how it looks from Kaysville, Cat Crap Capital of the World. *g*

You may very well have a legitimate point about the technical demise of FPA. You may very well have a valid point about having editors cycle in and out more often to keep them fresh. I doubt any sensible individual is going to want to argue against those two issues.

But if you're so mature why can't you just demonstrate that character and let it go?

Best,

DD
