I agree [as did you in one of your replies, I believe] some of this should have been done in private, but we have mostly just sat back [i.e., practiced restraint] and let everyone take care of themselves.

My primary thought on much of this is, "If you can not make a reasonably defendable statement, keep quiet." I think most of us would be better served by hitting the PREVIEW button first, count to 10, re-read your reply. Then go back and hit the SEND button if you still feel the same about your response.
