As I've said numerous times in emails forwarded to me all day, you don't have the correct version of NT used to build your copy of ERD Commander; the specific problem is in all probability with either the ATAPI.SYS driver, the motheboard/disk controller combination differing from the original motherboard (a BIOS and chipset-related issue), or trying to use a different manufacturer's SCSI HA than the original HA used on the drive.

If you do not have a functioning copy of ERD Commander set up for use with the drive with the proper OS version in question already, don't have the correct version of the ATAPI driver available elsewhere, or if you are trying to use the drive on an older board that does not have a fairly current BIOS and chipset that supports at least the same IDE Modes as the old motherboard chipset, or if you are trying to use a different vendor's SCSI HA than was originally used, either (1) get ready to pay someone like OnTrack a whole lot of money for data recovery services, or (2) get the last backup out, reformat the drive and get on with your life.
