That is exactly the point dude, publishers want to get my with the least amount of cash up front... Right now, I think the going rate is about $2.00/page. That does not come close to adaquately compensating for the value these people, the good ones provide...
So, when I discuss the role of a TE, it is not from a theorhetical standpoint, it is from a practical standpoint...
With regard to your second point, don't tell me you are going to try and make the argument that the market for VB books is better than that for VFP books!!!!!< bg >. In the end, you are right....it is all about the bucks..
