I agree that I've seen a few adults involved in scouting that act as you say. But I have been fortunate for the most part to have adult leaders that are interested in the boys and not themselves and are committed to seeing that the boys have a good time and learn some values. I'm sorry that your experience was not the same.

The thing is JVP seems to see negative things clearer than positive things in most situations.
