Jess,

That is the trouble with using labels to classify people. I think I am "primarily" a realist. That doesn't mean I am not optimistic or pessimistic concerning some aspects of life.

I'm semi-retired so I have some free time on my hands. I've volunteered to help elementary students learn to use computers. This school year I volunteer a couple days a week helping kindergarten students learn to read. I'm very optimistic even when it comes to the poorest reader, because everyday he shows some sign of improvement.

I am very much a pessimist concerning the quality of some doctors I have come in contact with during the past 6 years. I told one surgeon, 4 years ago, that I was doing research on Prostate Cancer on the internet. He responded, "You won't understand it, I don't"!! Needless to say, I immediately said goodby to him. Most that I've encountered do NOT keep up with the latest research and, therefore, are not qualified to treat advanced or exceptional cases in their primary specialty. Most doctors don't like me. Why? Because I remind them they are human just like me.

>2. Realist - Too much of pre-cautions which tends to see negative things more often than seeing the positive things on me. It's more on the "Real World Now" than the "Possibilities Tomorrow."
>3. Pessimist - It seems that I'm in a hopeless situation, sickness is a terminal cancer. The world is becoming worst and worst... let's kneel down and wait for the Lord is very coming soon.
