It is slower than RTF help, but I haven't at all found it a hinderance. Even the monstrous MSDN index responds pretty snappily on my machine. Maybe you need a new laptop? < g >

I don't know.. You would think a Dell 400mhz Laptop with 384 mb of Ram running Windows 2000 Server and about 8 gb of free disk space would be enough......
How does your laptop stack up against that???
I also have all of the docs on hard-drive (VB, VC, VFP, Office, etc..) So, you would think that would help....
When MSDN is fired up for the first time, it takes anywhere form 10-15 seconds. Subsequent startups take about 5 seconds... In my book, that is dog slow. The general complaints about HTML Help have focused on the speed, or lack thereof..
