I knew that they use dst in Europe, but didn't know about Australia. Thought it was a northern hemisphere thing.

In Australia ( all our States I think ? ) we moved our clocks back 1 hour on the 26th of March to mark the end of our daylight savings. I believe that the UK moved theirs forward 1 hour on the same day.
