I just learned that there IS a WP Macro, LONGNAME.WCM that will rename WPDOS 5.1 files w/the "long file name" in a single directory. It's not exactly what I want, but may help...and I've found out info on WP and OLE in old UT messages and www.wpwin.com/vault.
