Hi Mike --
>So, which of those values (political, social, scientific, or artistic) is it when your girlfriend drops her robe? Please don't tell me, scientific, okay? <g>
You mean in public? Otherwise, I don't think it applies, I could be worng though.
Only you'd know, of course. Far be it from me to guess whether you only find it erotic when she flashes other guys. I wouldn't bring it up with her, though, were I you.
But once again, its not my rules, the Courts use those 2 things and another one to determine if something i obscence, look it up if you want to know.
Okay, so we're clear then, you were simply appealing to authority for no other reason that to show you knew how to, right?
Ok, I see know. All I was pointing out was how some people determine obscenity, because it was used incorrectly in the sense that I know.
Frequently the case with that one, isn't it?
So I agree with how it is determined, and if anything implied that too, but I did not imply that everything erotic is obscene nor do I believe. You mis-read the definition I gave, its that simple.
Back to the question then, eh? You, presumably, find certain acts performed for your benefit to be erotic. Are these, by definition, obscene as well if no compelling social benefit is delivered simultaneously? (And, it's okay to just tell me that these are situations you've yet to find yourself in, so we can just let it drop, if you're uncomfortable with this line of thought.)
Later... Karl
