This is not desirable in an Automation Server situation that can handle a file not found error much better than a permanant wait state. Found out about that one, eh? Hey, it's in the docs as one of the errors that aren't trapped by WC :-} There's no way around this unfortunately. I've been bending Randy Brown's ear on these issues and I think this might be addressed in VFP 6. FWIW, VB 5.0 has an 'unattended' mode that does not support any UI whatsoever. Even errors don't bring up dialogs there... +++ Rick ---
