>As I'm scanning tables I'm showing the progress using the progress bar control. I would like to slow the process down slightly so I inserted an INKEY(.05) inside each scan loop. The problem is that I can't tell the difference between INKEY(.05) and INKEY(.0005). I would like to be able to adjust the speed with greater control. Is there a better way to do this?

Sleep() is going to make the VFP task not run for some period of time - if your goal is to slow the whole process, that'll do it. If you want to update the ProgressBar less frequently, why not trigger updates to the ProgressBar off a timer? This gets around the issue of making VFP run slowly, takes care of the different interval resolution, and most importantly, doesn't make VFP pause - you can just have the timer event update the progress bar control appropriately, specifying your interval in ms.
