Thanks Ed. I checked the MSCOMCTL.OCX in my distribution folder and it was NOT flagged a sread-only. It was flagged for archive. The client machine did not have MSCOMCTL.OCX installed anywhere in the system and is a Windows 98 machine.

We have not yet tried to address NT or Win2K.
