Good guess, but it makes no difference.

Actually, I am finding that it never makes a difference. As George pointed out earlier, our integers seem to be long anyways. They are 4 byte right, and the LONG used in the DECLARE command is supposed to be 32 bit (=4 byte)? Anyway, I tested on some other API functions, and it looks like they are completely interchangeable.
