They are 4 byte right, and the LONG used in the DECLARE command is supposed to be 32 bit (=4 byte)? Anyway, I tested on some other API functions, and it looks like they are completely interchangeable.

I saw George's post. I wonder if the LONG designator is just an internal alias to the INTEGER one for completeness or something.

Good luck with the WinInet thing, I am out of ideas, so I am sorry that don't have anything more to add.
