Riley,

>Thanks for your reply.
>You are right I have more than one issue. What I am trying to do is ... eliminate the need for our users to exit our VFP application and then run any of a series of compiled Crystal Reports.

You don't have to. Search for my messages regarding crystal reports. There are lot's of examples how to intergrate CR with VFP, You can mkae your own preview window in such way that users won't notice you're using CR.

I eventually want to be able to have a VFP front end screen for the reports that captures the parameters and then passed them on to the report.

>I was able to make a report appear but I was not able to accept and pass the parameters. I was thinking that part of the problem may be with the OBDC connection since I could make the report ask for parameters but even when I put them in the data did not change in the report.

You don't need ODBC, copy the result to a FPW 2.x file which is natively supported by CR.

>Anyway I tried the code you sent and I now get an OLE error.

set SYS(2333,1) or SYS(2333,0) (I can't remember from the top of my head) before you instanciate the form.

>Where did you find the example? I have CR-8 and there seems to be very little outside of samples for VB.

Most of the examples are translated from the VB examples. The developers help is a great resource too.

>Thanks again.
