Barbara what is MyReport name. Is this a temporary report file name? Because I was uning RPTA in replace of RPTA. RPTA is the actual develop report name. Barbara is it whenever you use the verb CURSOR will that generated special fields in memory. I think the fields are in RPTA must relate to your table being use. I need to learn this concept because I have a few reports to write. I really do appreciate your time and help. This on the job training is tough.(Smile)

BarBara I just generated a Wizard report and how would I go about setting up on to sort on certain fields.
