Yea I want to master VFP samples too. I can see there is no doubt I will go to West Winds for web applications but I want to see & understand the limitations, etc of what VFP samples have to offer and then move onward and upward. (BTW, I've read some threads here on UT by Rick Strahl of West Winds and wow, that dude is a good teacher. No mental juggling to follow what he's saying. Clear and concise.)

BUT, I can't get FoxIS to run as per VFP documentation. Bad, M$. Bad.
I did like this in the command window which MS instructs.

modi proj (_samples + '\servers\foxisapi\foxis\foxis')
set defa to (_samples + '\servers\foxisapi\foxis')
set classlib to employee
* so far so good
ox=createobject('employee')
*fatal error message "Can't find employee.dbf"
Click OK and I get an "Enter the value for employee.emp_id" from a View Parameter prompt.
I get the same thing running the main.prg
Any ideas?
