I have a customer experiencing the following problem. Any ideas?

From within a FoxPro for Windows 2.6a application:
-With Netware 4.11 reports that a null file does not exist (as expected)
-With Netware 5.0 reports that a null file does exist (as NOT expected)

With Netware 5.0 the following code outputs .T. (true)
JC=""
? FILE(JC)

FoxPro Syntax for FILE()
FILE()
Returns a logical true (.T.) if the specified file is found on disk.

Other specifics:

Dos,Nfs,Long Name Spaces loaded on the server.
Experienced on both a standard volume and a NSS vol

On workstation: Windows 95 4.00.950 B using Novell Netware Client 3.1.0.0
Did find Shrink Path to Dot, I tried to turn that off.... It did not change the problem.

c:\autoexec.bat
C:\PROGRA~1\NETWOR~1\MCAFEE~1\SCANPM.EXE C:\
@IF ERRORLEVEL 1 PAUSE
SET Path=%PATH%;"C:\NovDoc\KServer"
PATH C:\Novell\Client32;%PATH%
SET ClassPath=%CLASSPATH%;C:\NovDoc\KServer\NVClass.zip
Set NWLANGUAGE=ENGLISH

Any ideas would be appreciated.
