http://www.google.com has a 'cache' feature that saves a copy of the web page the bot encountered during it's last visit to the site. When sites shut down the cache feature is the only way to see what was on the page. Also, it's pattern matching algorithm seems a notch above the others. But, that is more of a 'user's skill' issue. The fact that the website and engine are Linux apps is a nice side note, since I run only SuSE 6.3 on my PC at home and am testing various Linux RAD tools for possible adoption. Right now my money is on KDevelop setting on top of KDE, a desktop app. Awesome tool. I am working on creating a set of data-aware widgets (controls in MS speak) that will clone features of VFP and the TCL.

That is why UT is the most important VFP support system on the planet. Turn-arounds of one month can't compete with those that range from minutes to a day or two and which treat *every* question with an answer, not just 5 or 10 picks.

I haven't heard anyone suggest this, nor have I ever seen it in print. But, the thread archives are a literal gold mine that UT, or some publisher, could edit into periodicals, indexed for easy reference, and available when one journeys to the Great White Throne. :-)
