I have better pics of myself, but when I reduce them to this little itty-bitty size they end up looking terrible. This was the best I could come up with, but I hate that it doesn't really look like me.
I was mistaken for Rox at the Palm Springs DevCon at the bar on the first night there. I don't know why, I don't think I look *anything* like Rox, but I guess somebody thought so.

>>I'd say that you *kinda* look a little like your picture.

>Well, I can recognize myself here on the UT, so it looks pretty accurate to me. At least, it looks like how I imagine myself to look. :-)
>
>>Now my picture is absolutely terrible, don't you think? I mean, it looks ok, but I don't think it looks anything like me.

>Terrible is not a word I would use (I'm not that dumb). Now that I've met you in person I can see the resemblance, but I don't know that I could have picked you out of a crowd based on the UT picture.

>When Ed Rauh and Bill Caton came over for a visit early this year, I was shocked to see what they *really* look like, as they probably were about me.
>
>This feels so strange to know people so well online, and then stand awkwardly around staring at each other when we finally meet in person -- making small-talk while thinking "This isn't the same person I know on the UT". :-)

>Then after a few minutes of geek-speak, all is well.
