We are looking into producing an application where a series of products are sized and selected.

As we are a global company, we must accommodate as many requirements as possible. This includes the web to increase usage, market penetration, feedback, etc and also a distributed application for those who can not or will not work on the web for significant amount of time while they use the software.

We would like to produce a single solution that will fit the bill, saving time and resource. FoxPro has been recomended as the data engine and also web interface using WC. It has been suggested that a single solution can be distrubuted on a cd and the individual will be able to use the same system through a browser.

Is this sort of thing possible? Is WC as easy and flexible to use as suggested? Does anyone have some practical experience that they would like share? What pitfalls should I look out for?
